ittala Ultima Thule Small Bowl, this range was inspired by the melting ice in Lapland, Tapio Wirkkala originally created the surface in the 1960s after carving into a graphic mould.  The Ultima Thule range was originally created in the 1960's for the First Class Cabins in the Finnair Helsinki - New York route and is still used to this day.
